Welcome to Operation Seamripper 2023!
Welcome to Bastille du Lac’s, ongoing sewing project nicknamed 'Operation Seam Ripper'! Over the next few months, we’re going to be working on creating a persona, building a period appropriate appearance and learn a whole new set of skills. We’ll be breaking the project into sections and focusing on real-world skills, like sewing, leatherwork and simple metalwork. Participants will be offered the opportunity to attend classes, workshops and online discussions throughout the season, and should be able to finish most projects in a timely fashion.
Anyone is welcome to join in, at any time. There is no commitment required and participants can create as much or as little as they desire. There will be a focus on improvisation and cost saving measures where appropriate. Schedules, locations and more details will be posted soon.
