Let the good time roll, you say? But how?

Well, this is what we're going to do- we're going to have our own version of Mardi Gras, with a Carnivale twist and a huge slice of cake! We're going to open the field for competition- teams that go by the name of 'Krewes' will be competing to win points (in the form of Mardi Gras beads) and vying for the big prize. What is the prize? Well, you'll have to win it to find out!
Krewes can be formed by anyone- household, Barony, groups of friends or just anyone at all! You don't have to be in a Krewe to compete; individuals are welcome to collect their own points and give it a go. Certain staff will have beads- some will be given for winning a tourney or shoot, some will be for advertised competitions and some will be handed out at the discretion of the staff, for things like volunteering, shenaniganery of a theme'd persuasion or just for being in the right spot at the right (wrong?) time. Krewes can be formed, reformed, betrayed, bribed, and mucked with right up until the final minute, to keep things interesting. Speaking of bribery, I really like sweets...
As the finale for all of the craziness, we will be holding a Mardi Gras Masquerade on Sunday- a before bedtime one for the younger set, and an after bedtime for the rest of us. There will be games, snacks and friendly competition at both, with cake and pianatas to add to the chaos! Who knows, the leftovers from the brewing competition may find their way out, if we're lucky!
Cheers,
Matilda, causer of mayhem
